HANAHANA

Hanahan is a city in Berkeley County and was incorporated in 1972. Like most Charleston areas, Hanahan is a great city ideal for residents, businesses, and visitors. Located between Goose Creek and North Charleston, Hanahan is centrally located in one of the most convenient parts of the greater Charleston area. Located within minutes of the Charleston Airport, Air Force Base and the Naval Weapons Station. Only fifteen miles to downtown Charleston and historic Summerville and centrally located to Mount Pleasant and West Ashley with short drive to local beaches. Near Interstate 26 and 526, as well as U.S. Highway 52. Hanahan is really in the middle of the most popular place found in the Lowcountry. 

Hanahan is known for having great amenities, including rivers, lakes, parks, recreation, and safety services spectacular City Amphitheater overlooking the Goose Creek Reservoir. Primarily a residential city Hanahan has several major area private employers, and the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center is the public employer.
